Subsidized counselling during COVID

Target Beneficiaries:

People who were unemployed or underemployed during pandemic

About the Project:

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Hong Kong’s unemployment and underemployment rates continued to rise, and the high-pressure social environment caused more people to face mental health problems. In response, we launched the “Subsidized counselling during COVID” program to support individuals and families who were unemployed or underemployed due to the pandemic. Through this program, beneficiaries were able to receive 6 sessions of counselling services at our center at a subsidized rate of $30 per session. The goal was to help these individuals and families build up their psychological resilience and overcome the challenges they were facing during this difficult period.
